Facilities Manager

Full time, permanant   |   Up to £40,000 per annum

Eureka! is looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the technical and facilities function at Eureka! Science + Discovery, ensuring our site, buildings, plant and exhibits are safe, compliant and brilliantly maintained.

You’ll take the lead on health and safety, security, planned maintenance, and contractor and budget management — with the ultimate goal of keeping the visitor experience running smoothly for every family who walks through our doors.

You’ll be a confident, hands-on leader with strong facilities and building services experience, a solid grasp of health and safety governance, and the people skills to manage a small team of technicians alongside a range of contractors.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in building services, facilities management and maintenance
• Experience managing people and supervising specialist/outsourced services
• Strong budget, contract and negotiation skills
• Confidence acting as a health and safety lead within an organisation
• Experience in a charity or facilities environment is a plus
• IOSH membership or NEBOSH General Certificate desirable
