This Halloween, we’re exploring the engineering in magic with Dr Ken’s science shows, build and test classic visual illusions, design your own colourful illusions or ask one of our wandering magicians to show you a trick!

Join Dr Ken for a science show that explores how magicians use science and engineering in their magic tricks. Dr Ken blends spectacular magic tricks, illusions and stunts with extraordinary science and engineering!

In our Make Create space you can write a letter in invisible ink, make it look like there’s a hole in your hand or make a portrait with moving eyes…if you can get past our ghost hologram!
Times: Drop in all day.
Chill out in our Community Space by colouring in your own visual illusions or make a hollow-faced dragon to take home.

Keep your eyes peeled for real magicians walking around who can perform their tricks for you from 10:30-3:30 Monday-Thursday and 10:30-1:30 on Friday!
