Nature’s Superheroes Science Show!
In this show, we’ll explore how amazing animal abilities have inspired the superpowers seen in comics and movies – from the incredible strength of leafcutter ants to the sonar-like senses of bats. Uncover the fascinating science that proves nature created superheroes first!

Every day: 11am /12pm /1pm /2pm /3pm

Meet a REAL superhero!
After learning all about the science behind their powers, come face-to-face with real life superheroes in the galleries! Strike your hero pose, grab a selfie…maybe even ask them a question! They’ll be with us every day throughout May half term from 11am – 3pm.

Roaming superheroes schedule:
🦇 Batman: weekends of the 23/24 and 30/31 plus 25 May
🕸️ Spiderman: 26/27/28/29 May
✨ Wonder Woman: 25/26/27/28/29 May

Create-A-Cape Workshop:
Red or blue? Pink or black? Sparkles or tassels? Become your very own superhero and design a cape to wear in our Create-A-Cape workshop!

Please note that this is at an additional cost of £5 per cape.

Comic Storyboards:
Using our templates, design and colour your own comic book pages to tell the story of your very own superhero! Create a brand new hero, or choose your favourite!

Every day: drop in 10am – 3:30pm.
