Join us for a week overflowing with watery wonders, including splash-tastic experiments, hands-on crafts, and jaw-dropping shows! Dive deep into the magic of H2O and discover how water shapes our world, nature, bodies, and homes in the most unexpected ways!
Soak up the fun this Feb Half Term!
Science Made Simple presents: It's Only Water!
Get ready for a dynamic, interactive show exploring the properties of water in exciting ways! 🫧
Through live demonstrations, volunteers from the audience will help the presenters explore how water changes states, floats, freezes, boils, and dissolves!
Suitable for all ages.

On top of our standard shows we’re excited to announce that on Saturday 22nd February we’re able to offer BSL (British Sign Language) interpretation at EVERY show! 🎉 Find out more here!

During half-term things tend to get a little busy. To avoid disappointment we will be setting up a table outside of the theatre so you can sign up for workshops and shows through out the day.
If you arrive after 10am, we can book workshops/shows for 11am and 12pm
If you arrive after 12pm, you can book workshops / shows for 1.30pm and 2.30pm
If you arrive after 2pm, you can book workshops / shows for 3:30pm
Splash Lab! 💦
Discover the unique properties of water in this interactive workshop that’s overflowing with science! Get hands on experimenting with water answering questions like… Can water defy gravity? Can drawings float? And what happens when you mix ink, coffee filters, and water?
Suitable for 5yrs+.

Capacity: 30 children with accompanying adult – please sign up on arrival.

Paint with Water! 🖌️
Get creative with water-based painting. Using sugar paper, we’ll make marks using water only. It’s messy play without the mess! 💦
